A Wrinkle in Time

This magnificent and magical book is about three kids who go on a dangerous journey through time. It all started one dark and stormy night when Meg, her youngest brother Charles Wallace, and their mother went to the kitchen for a midnight snack, but get interrupted by a peculiar stranger. When the newcomer gestures Meg, Charles Wallace, and their new friend Calvin to join her on a perilous mission, they are suddenly on a treacherous adventure to find Meg and Charles Wallace's father and save their universe. This book made me do nothing but read, read, read all the time because of its suspense and mysteriousness!!!

Emma, we love this book too. Ellen got it from the Barnes and Noble Book Club one summer and Alvah read it for an oral presentation in media this year. (Media is what we call library in Maryland :) ) Anyway, did you know it is the first of a 4 book series? Let me know if you read any of the others. Ellen is taking a high shcool English class next year and will have to read and report on a book each week. I plan on checking your sight for suggested reading! I miss you girls, (and your entire family), Love, Mrs. Ferguson

I nearly bought that for Emma for her birthday. I am so glad that I didn't. I'm sorry about that misconception and I'm glad you were able to return that to Target. That was a great thing.

Have you read any others from that series? I got the second one for my birthday by my friend that convinced me to read the book in the first place! Anyway, I got the rest from the library but haven't gotten a chance to read them.
